Laptops for SFUSD scholarship recipients
Currently, we are working with the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and their public foundation, SPARK SF Public Schools, to honor recipients of the SFUSD Superintendent's 21st Century Scholarship Award. This scholarship award recognizes six graduating seniors that exemplify the characteristics of the SFUSD Graduate Profile, representing the knowledge, skills, dispositions, and behaviors we aspire for every graduate to carry into the world. We are honored that the district has asked Tech4Youth Foundation to provide these students with an Apple Macbook Neo computer in addition to their scholarship award.
Our goal for this fundraiser is $5,000, which we hope to collect by mid-April. To reach this goal, we are launching a targeted campaign throughout the Bay Area, and we need your help. Whether you choose to donate directly, share our initiative with family and friends, or simply reach out with questions or advice, every action brings us one step closer to empowering six exceptional San Francisco students. These laptops will serve as a gateway to opportunity, from the pursuit of higher education to the exploration of career pathways.
Our Accomplishments
We are pleased to announce that we have concluded our fundraiser with the Sausalito Marin City School District, exceeding our original goal of $11,000 - raising over $15,000 from 65+ donors! Through the support of the Marin community, we were able to provide over 35 SMCSD students with personal laptops, bridging the digital divide and ensuring greater digital access to those in need.

Additionally, thanks to the support and collaboration of the Sausalito Marin City School District throughout the whole process, we were able to bring this project to life, surpassing our high expectations and delivering a massive win to the Sausalito-Marin City community and its students.
